This agency was established to meet the need for a pool of trained, consistent and familiar staff who could provide locum cover within the learning disability services as and when required.
The use of unfamiliar agency staff was having a negative impact on service provision, staff morale and sometimes on the behaviour of those in care.
By using the same staff to fill these positions as required, the staff become familiar with the policies and procedures of the service, as well as the needs of the individuals in their care. This allows them to forge relationships not only with those in their care but also with other staff.
Our staff have a least three months experience of working with individuals with a learning disability and are trained in the areas of Manual Handling and Patient Lifting, First Aid and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention.
On request at the end of each month, we can provide you with an analysis of the cover which we have provided which will outline agency costs, reason for cover e.g. sick leave, annual leave, vacancies etc.
A schedule of charges is available on request. Invoices are raised on a weekly basis and provide a breakdown by location or as required by the client. We will do our utmost to fulfil our client’s administrative requirements.
